Shear Elegance Pet Salon and
Shear Elegance Academy of Pet Styling
Lynne Carver
Lynne Carver Started grooming in the Orem, Utah area in 1975. She opened her own shop, Shear Elegance Pet Salon, in about 1980. She established Shear Elegance Academy of Pet Styling in 1997.
She was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer (leiomyosarcoma) and passed away on March 16th 2003. The last few years one of her sisters and/or her mother were with her almost constantly. Her sister Lisa Hubbart spent most of 2002 in Utah running Shear Elegance Pet Salon and teaching at Shear Elegance Academy of Pet Styling. After she passed away Lisa closed the school. Since then Lisa has continued running Shear Elegance as Lynne wanted. Because of the need for training quality profesional Groomers Lisa has continued teaching pet Styling through an apprenticeship program. This way she can carry on and share Lynne's ideals and standards of quality Pet styling.

Time for Change
After being in business over 26 years in Utah county and at the same location for over 14 years it's time for a change. Shear Elegance Pet Salon Closed at the end of 2007.
We have many loyal Satisfied customers that will find us at the new business.

Not just traditional full service grooming and Mobile Pet Grooming, but services like; Do-Your-Own Dog wash, Doggie Day care, Pet sitting, Training classes and consulting in areas of selecting the right pet, behavior and training issues, Classes in home pet maintenance bathing and grooming and more.
Lisa is a Nationally Certified Master Groomer, Tim as been semi-retired but now that he is returning to Pet related business is starting the process of becoming a Certified Master Groomer.
